Who are office 365 Early adopters:
AUP Office 365 early adopters are volunteer participants representing the 3 parties:
– Students
– Faculty
– Staff
For early adopters, on a given date, the AUP email will be migrated to Office 365 and it will be accessible through the Office 365 web portal, including the full features of O365 integrated applications:
Outlook online: Mail, contacts, calendar
Office 2016 online: Word, excel, PowerPoint
Delve: Logs activities
Sway: Interactive – Multimedia oriented presentation tool
OneDrive for Business: Cloud storage – up to 1Tb per user
OneNote – StaffNote: Academic and professional collaboration tool
Yammer: Enterprise(Pro) social Network
SharePoint: Development – for advanced users
Planner: Project planning and task assignment tool
In addition to the above applications, early adaptors will be able to download and install the Office 2016 applications for free on their personal computers (Windows and OSX).
The office 2016 package includes the following desktop apps: Word, excel, PowerPoint, sway, OneNote, OneDrive for Business and Skype for Business.
What is expected from early adopters?
To demonstrate a case using at least one of the features of Office 365 (i.e. Calendar, Group, OneNote, Sway, etc.)
